Cross-Datacenter Latency

There are many server configurations you can apply to your particular network setup, each with distinct requirements and benefits. In setting up your network, server latency can be a critical factor in network performance.

The latency between any Server/Server communication should not exceed five milliseconds. For example, an Active/Active data center configuration.

Longer latency times can create adverse effects on the performance of some services and increase webpage loading times.

Note:

Cross Datacenter Active/Active is currently not supported for Workspace ONE Control Plane components.

For detailed configurations based on deployment sizing, see Considerations for Workspace ONE UEM On-Premises Hardware Sizing.

For an overview of an on-premises deployment model, see Workspace ONE UEM On-Premises Deployment Model.
