Use Horizon Console to work with the application pools within your Horizon 8 deployment. A published application pool runs on a farm of multi-session host machines, and provides for delivering the published application to many users.
Application pools can be flagged as Cloud Managed to make them suitable for use with Universal Broker and multi-cloud assignments. When an application pool is marked as Cloud Managed, it synchronises with the Horizon Cloud control plane. When the pool is added to a Horizon Cloud pool group, the system automatically marks it as Cloud Assigned. Entitlements for Cloud-managed application pools must be created and managed from the Horizon Universal Console.
The application pool list in Horizon Console displays the Cloud status of each pool as a column: Local, Cloud Managed, or Cloud Assigned. The column is filterable and sortable. For Cloud-managed application pools, the pool detail view also displays a sync status indicator: Synced, Syncing, or Sync Failed. If a sync failure occurs, the indicator shows a descriptive error and a Retry action.
