When license validation runs
Omnissa Monitor validates your license when you onboard a Horizon Connection Server. If validation fails, Connection Server onboarding is blocked and you cannot monitor the pod.
Standard license validation
Bundled scenario — Horizon Term license: With a valid Horizon Term license key, Omnissa Monitor Standard is available as a bundled option. A valid Term license key is required to onboard Horizon pods.
Standard add-on SKU scenario: If you are using any other Horizon Term or SaaS license, a valid Omnissa Monitor Standard add-on license key is required to onboard Horizon pods.
If validation fails
Omnissa Monitor blocks Connection Server onboarding and displays one of two messages.
Invalid license
Invalid Connection Server License
A valid Connection Server license was not detected. Please ensure a valid Horizon license is available for your Connection Server and try again.
Ensure a valid Horizon license is available for the Connection Server, then retry onboarding.
Validation could not complete
Connection Server License Check Failed
The Connection Server license check could not be completed successfully. If additional attempts fail, please contact support.
Omnissa Monitor retries the validation call automatically before showing this message. If it appears repeatedly, contact Omnissa Support.
In both cases the Connection Server record is cleared, and you can restart onboarding from Connecting a Horizon 8 pod once the licensing issue is resolved.
