Activate Registration Security

After upgrading to the latest version, you can activate registration security for all servers known to this instance of App Volumes Manager.

Note: Activating registration security is a one-time activity and applicable only to users upgrading from Omnissa App Volumes 2.15 or earlier. This action is not required for a fresh installation of the latest version of App Volumes. You also do not need to perform this action after every App Volumes upgrade.

Prerequisites

You must have completed registration of all the manager servers for which you want to activate registration security.

Procedure

1. From App Volumes Manager, go to CONFIGURATION > Managers.

   A list of App Volumes Manager servers visible to this instance of App Volumes is displayed.

2. Select the App Volumes Manager server you want and click Activate Registration Security.

3. Confirm the activation and click Activate.
