Guidelines for upgrade
-
You must generate a new
es-config.jsonconfiguration file from the Omnissa Access console and use it for the upgrade and after, instead of using the existing file. This is a new requirement for this version of the connector. Thees-config.jsonestablishes the connection between the Omnissa Access service and the connector. -
Make a note of any custom settings in your existing installation, such as proxy servers, syslog servers, and certificates. You will need to configure these settings and upload certificates again during or after upgrade. See Install the Omnissa Access Connector for the complete list of custom settings. Additionally, if you updated the Java memory for any of the services, make a note of the setting as you will need to configure it again after upgrade.
For upgrade instructions, see Upgrading Omnissa Access Connector.
Known Issues
This release has the following known issues:
Known Issue: For the Enable Change Password option that allows users to change their Active Directory passwords from Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub, the UPN format alternativePrefix@alternativeSuffix is supported only for password change after login. It is not supported for password reset.
Users will be able to change their password after they log in to Intelligent Hub but they will not be able to reset their password from the login page.
