Nutanix - Creating an Automated RDSH Farm

A Nutanix automated farm consists of RDS hosts that are virtual machines provisioned by Horizon through Nutanix Prism Central.

The following are benefits of Nutanix automated farms:

• Provisioning Nutanix clones is fast, using Nutanix redirect-on-write cloning technology, combined with Horizon ClonePrep customization. Also, Microsoft Sysprep customization is an option.

• Patching a farm of RDS hosts through a rolling process with minimal downtime.

Horizon Connection Server creates the RDS virtual machines based on the parameters that you specify when you create the farm.
