Get started with Omni, Omnissa's AI assistant, by meeting the listed requirements, activating the feature in Omnissa Connect, and using optimized queries in the Data Analysis tool, the Knowledge Search, or both.
Meet Omni
Omni is Omnissa’s AI conversational assistant designed to help you work smarter across Omnissa products including OmnissaWorkspace ONE UEM, Omnissa Horizon, Omnissa Intelligence, and Omnissa Workspace ONE Experience Management (also known as DEX). It helps you with the listed scenarios.
- Analyze Omnissa Intelligence data effortlessly with Data Analysis using natural language and getting raw and aggregated results for your UEM, Horizon, and Experience Management (DEX) data.
- Find answers instantly using Knowledge Search through trusted documentation, knowledge base articles, and technical resources without leaving the console.
To see a click-through demo of Omni, access Guided Tour: Introducing Omni on the Omnissa Tech Zone site.
Accessing Omni
You can access Omni in two ways.
- Chat Interface: Select the Omni icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen in supported consoles.

- Omnissa Intelligence: In the Omnissa Intelligence console, select Omni in the navigation pane on the left side of the page.

Why use Omni?
Using Omni is like using other chat assistants. Simply ask a question to start a conversation, and Omni responds using one of its two tools, the Knowledge Search tool and the Data Analysis tool. Using Omni offers the listed benefits.
- Simplifying troubleshooting with contextual documentation.
- Getting answers to your data without manually building queries. Refine the automatically generated query and response in Data Explorer.
- Reducing support tickets by finding answers faster.
Knowledge Search tool
Knowledge Search helps you find answers to task-related questions by searching trusted product documentation, technical resources, and knowledge base (KB) articles directly within the console. It supports natural language queries and can summarize results and provide links to original sources.
You can use Knowledge Search to perform the listed queries.
- Ask questions about recent updates to Omnissa products.
- Find documentation related to configuration settings.
- Locate links to additional information on system messages or errors in your environment.
Data Analysis tool
Omni supports real-time insights and simplified data analysis across integrated products. You can define queries using natural language to generate reports, identify trends, or create dashboard widgets. Within Intelligence, Omni can answer questions about your UEM and Horizon data and returns the results as tables and charts, similar to what you might see in custom dashboards.
You can use the Data Analysis tool to perform the listed tasks.
- Query aggregated device counts for UEM and preview the generated aggregated data table.
- Retrieve power status data for all virtual machines in Horizon and preview the generated raw data table.
- Request trend analysis for historical data and view visualizations highlighting key patterns or anomalies.
In Omnissa Intelligence, you can open tables and charts in a full-screen interface called the Data Explorer, where you can modify the query, view additional details, or ask new questions. Omni automatically builds the query based on your input, but you can also refine or manually create queries in Data Explorer.
Quick start examples
Here are some suggested entires to use in Omni.
