| Omnissa dux 3.1 | 04 MAR 2026 | Build 3.1.0.886 |
We are excited to share the new release of Omnissa dux version 3.1! Read on to learn about the new features and improvements in this release.
New Features
Support for new containerized Content Gateway
Dux now supports management of new containerized Content Gateway service. This is in addition to Tunnel, Secure Email Gateway (SEG), and PAC Reader container software. For more information, see dux documentation and respective release notes.
Reduce root (privileged) user requirements
Dux now supports a new minimal-mode operation, allowing most workflows to run without root or passwordless sudo. Remaining privileged tasks like perftune can be handled during server provisioning for a smoother setup experience.
Added additional CA certificates to the container’s trust store
Added support for custom CA cert uploads, stored in a new certs folder created automatically during dux installation. The manifest can now specify certificate locations using both relative and absolute paths for greater flexibility.
Perf-tune settings now persist after server reboot
Perf‑tune configuration is now preserved through server reboots for consistent performance tuning.
