Omnissa Connect Release Notes

What's in the Release Notes?

The Omnissa Connect Release Notes outline the new features and enhancements in each release. This page contains a summary of the new capabilities, issues that have been resolved, and known issues that have been reported. With Omnissa Connect, you can access your Omnissa solutions portfolio from a centralized location.

Omnissa Connect 26.08.06

New Features

  • License Consumption is in general availability.
    • Use the feature as a simple view into your entitlement versus consumption and actionable insights, which makes tracking easy and provides insights to support timely decisions.
    • The feature is available to Owners and Administrators by default, and to anyone else through the assignment of the Consumption viewer role.
    • This initial version focuses on Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM licenses.
    • The License Consumption widget on the Home page provides an overview of the entitlements and the number of enrolled devices.
    • Find the listed UEM metrics and trends on the License Consumption page.

Resolved Issues

  • CXP-8528: Fixed an issue where the View button in the Service Health widget was not displaying for Horizon components.
  • CXP-8529: Fixed an issue where the Service Health widget did not display the service status sometimes for the Horizon components Edge Hub, Universal Console, and Universal Broker in the EU region.

Known Issues

Omnissa Connect 26.06.04

New Features

  • In this release, we’ve made a few updates containing general quality and performance improvements with no new features.

Resolved Issues

  • CXP-8476: Fixed the user interface issues occurring in the Data Access Policy feature and deployed the feature to production.

Known Issues

  • CXP-8528: In the Service Health widget, the View button is not displaying for Horizon components because the system is not setting the incident URL when it handles multiple regions.
  • CXP-8529: The Service Health widget does not display the service status sometimes for the Horizon components Edge Hub, Universal Console, and Universal Broker in the EU region.

Omnissa Connect 26.06.01

New Features

  • Service Health for Status, Planned Events, and Security Advisories
    • We've added a Service Health widget to the Omnissa Connect Home page for an at-a-glance view of the health and status of your Omnissa services.
    • On the Service status tab, view the status of your Omnissa products as Operational, Under maintenance, or Scheduled maintenance.
    • On the Planned events tab, plan for upcoming maintenance for your Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM product.
    • On the Security advisories tab, find a list of security advisories for the last 90 days. You can also navigate to the Omnissa Security Advisory (OMSA) page and the NIST National Vulnerability Database for advisory details.

      To quickly see the health and status of your Omnissa products, use the new Service health widget on the Home page.

Resolved Issues

  • We are always working to improve Omnissa Connect with every release. There are no major bug fixes to report.

Known Issues

  • CXP-8476: We've moved the DAP feature release timing target to production.
    • To ensure a seamless user experience, the production rollout of the Data Access Policy (DAP) feature (reported as released in 26.05.19) has been changed to June 2026 due to user interface issues.

Omnissa Connect 26.05.20

New Features

  • Onboarding for On-Premises Environments
    • Omnissa Connect offers a process to onboard your on-premises, Omnissa Horizon products.
    • Owners create new organizations and join them with the Account Organization so that they can access and download their Omnissa products.
    • The new Finance admin role views subscription details in the Account Organization to ensure subscriptions, licensing, and billing are correct.

Omnissa Connect 26.05.19

New Features

  • Data Access Policy Settings
    • You can now assign and remove Omnissa Intelligence Data Access Policies (DAPs) in Omnissa Connect.
    • Assign, change, or remove the applicable DAP in the Administrator record.
    • For details, access Administrators.
      Assign a data access policy in the admin record. You cannot edit DAP configurations in Connect. You can only edit DAP configurations in Intelligence.
  • Support for Generic SCIM 2.0
    • You can now configure a generic identity provider (IdP) for Enterprise Federation in the SAML protocol and with generic SCIM 2.0-compliant provisioning.

  • Enhanced Administrator Access Management Experience
    • Omnissa Connect now includes usability enhancements to the Administrators data grid to improve visibility and reporting for role-based access control.
    • Admins with Owners and Administrators roles can export administrator records with selectable columns, manage visible columns directly in the grid, and use expanded filtering and search capabilities to more easily locate users by name, email, or account identifier.
    • The updated grid also surfaces clearer role and permission details, including group-derived access and service role expiration status, making it easier to understand and audit administrator access at a glance.

      We've enhanced the admin grid to clarify service roles, member roles, and so Owners and Admins can export user lists.

New Features

  • Customize the Home page to arrange and display information to enhance work flows and user experiences.
    Select Customize to control what admins see on the Home page.
    • Select Home > Overview tab > Customize to access the feature.

Omnissa Connect 25.12.16

New Features

  • We've added a User Audit Report page to Omnissa Connect so that you can view a running log of Connect events.
    Find the User Audit Report page from the main, left navigation in Connect.
    • Find the User Audit Report page in the main, left-side navigation.
    • This page reports events for only Omnissa Connect.
    • Filter the list by time ranges, search for a specific event, or use the event types drop-down menu to filter the list.
    • You can export the list or export specific event details as CSV files.
    • You can give users access to this page using the new User event auditor role.
    • For details, access User Audit Report.

  • Feed brings together the latest updates from the Omnissa Knowledge Base, Omnissa TechZone, Omnissa Documentation, and Omnissa Blog sites into a single, streamlined view, making it easier than ever to stay informed. Some key highlights include the following features.
    • Unified Content Widget: View the 20 most recent articles across sources directly on your Home page.
    • Advanced Filtering and Search: Filter by product, topic, timeline, source, or keyword to find what matters most.
    • Easy Sharing and Bookmarking: Share articles with one click or save them to your personalized Bookmarks Feed.
    • For more details, see the Feed topic.
      Use the new Feed section to access news about Omnissa products and services.
