Use Workspace ONE Content to securely add, view, and manage your content.
When you click on the Add (+) icon on the home page, you can perform various tasks like creating files and folders, recording audio, taking photos or videos, uploading photos or videos, and scanning documents. Let us go over these activities in detail.
Create a File
To create a file and save it to the repository, follow the following steps:
- Select Create file.
- Choose the file type. You can select a file type from the following options:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Text File
- Add content and tap Save
- Add the file name in the File Name section.
- Tap on Choose a location to save the new file. You can choose to save your file in Admin or User or Local Storage repository.
- Click Save
Create a Folder
To create a folder and save it to the repository, follow the following steps.
- Select Create Folder.
- Add the folder name in the Folder Name section.
- Click Choose a location to save the new folder. You can choose to save your folder in Admin or User or Local Storage repository.
- Click Save.
Record Audio
To record audio using the device's microphone and save it to the repository, follow the following steps:

Select Record audio

Allow access to the device microphone

Record and tap Done

Add the file name in the File Name section

Click Choose a location to save the photos or videos or both. You can choose to save your photos or videos or both in Admin or User or Local Storage repository..

Tap on Save.
Note: File saved in the repository will be in .m4a format
You have the option of recording up to 60 minutes of continuous audio. The Workspace ONE Content app automatically stops recording after 60 minutes.You can continue to record audio in the background while performing other tasks.
Take Photos or Videos
To capture and upload photos and video, follow the following steps:

Select Take photos or videos.

Allow access to the device camera.

Take photos or videos or both and tap Save.

Add the file name in the File Name section.

Click Choose a location to save the photos or videos or both. You can choose to save your photos or videos or both in Admin or User or Local Storage repository.

Tap Advanced to set the following options:
Descriptions Enter a description for the image. Compression Select the type of compression such as Low, Medium, high and none you want for the file. Set as default compression You can set the compression as default so that all images captured uses this compression. -
Tap Apply.

Tap Save.
Upload Photos or Videos from album
To upload photos or videos from Album and save them to the repository, follow the following steps:

Select Upload photos or videos

Allow access to the device album

Select photos or videos or both and tap Save

Add the file name in the File Name section

Click Choose a location to save the photos or videos or both. You can choose to save your photos or videos or both in Admin or User or Local Storage repository.

Tap Advanced to set the following options:
Descriptions Enter a description for the image. Compression Select the type of compressions such as Low, Medium, High, and None you want for the file. Set as default compression You can set the compression as default so that all images are captured using this compression. -
Tap on Apply

Tap on Save
Scan Documents Using Device's Camera
To scan documents using the device camera and save them to the repository, follow the following steps:
- Select Scan Document
- Allow access to the device camera
- Scan the Document and Add filters.
- Tap on Save
- Add the file name in the File Name section
- Select File format as PDF or Images
- Click Choose a location to save the scanned document. You can choose to save your scanned document in Admin or User or Local Storage repository.
- Tap on Save
Note: You can scan up to 24 images at once and save them as a PDF or image.
Upload Files from Device's Storage
To upload files from your Device's storage, follow the following steps:
- Navigate to All Files > Local storage or Admin Repo or User Repo.
- Select Upload files.
- Select the file you want to upload.
