Installing Omnissa Horizon Client for Windows with the URL Content Redirection Feature Enabled

To use URL Content Redirection from a Windows client to a remote desktop or published application (client-to-agent redirection), you must install Horizon Client for Windows with the URL Content Redirection feature enabled.

Instead of double-clicking the installer file, start the installation by running the command in a command prompt window.

Run the installer with the following command to enable the URL Content Redirection feature:
-Horizon-Client-x86-YYMM-y.y.y-xxxxxx.exe /v URL_FILTERING_ENABLED=1

To verify that the URL Content Redirection feature is enabled, make sure that the -url-protocol-launch-helper.exe and -url-filtering-plugin.dll files are in the %PROGRAMFILES%\Omnissa\Omnissa Horizon Client directory. If you are using the URL Content Redirection feature with Internet Explorer, also verify that the Horizon View URL Filtering Plugin Internet Explorer add-on is installed.
