Select a Favorite Remote Desktop or Published Application

You can select favorite remote desktops and published applications. Shortcuts for favorite items are identified by a star and appear on the Favorites tab. Favorite items are saved after you log off from the server.

Prerequisites

Obtain the credentials for connecting to the server, such as a user name and password or RSA SecurID and passcode.

Procedure

1. On the Omnissa Horizon Client Home window, double-click the server icon.

2. If prompted, supply your RSA user name and passcode, your Active Directory user name and password, or both.

3. To select or deselect a favorite remote desktop or published application, perform these steps.

   Option	Action
   Select a favorite	Touch the star icon on the remote desktop or published application shortcut. The icon changes to a solid star in the left-bottom corner of the shortcut and the shortcut appears on the Favorites window.
   Deselect a favorite	Touch the solid star icon on remote desktop or published application shortcut. The icon becomes hollow star in the left-bottom corner of the shortcut and the shortcut disappears from the Favorites window.

4. To display only favorite remote desktops or published applications, click the Favorite button (star icon) in the upper-right corner of the desktop and application selection window.

   You can click the Favorite button again to display all the available remote desktops and published applications.
