Beginning with Omnissa Horizon Client for Linux 2412, you can authenticate to websites and applications running remotely. The WebAuthN call is redirected to the client system where Horizon Client can access a Fast Identity Online 2 (FIDO2) device to complete authentication.

System requirements
To use FIDO2 WebAuthN Redirection on Horizon Client for Linux, you need the following hardware and software.
FIDO2-enabled authentication device
USB Human Interface Device (HID) authenticator
Client system
Horizon Client FIDO2 WebAuthN Redirection is supported on the following Linux clients:
- Ubuntu
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- ARM Linux
FIDO2 WebAuthN Redirection event logs
You can view FIDO2 WebAuthN Redirection log information by collecting the Horizon Client logs. You can also view the individual log file at /tmp/omnissa-$use/omnissa-fido2Client_*.log.
To configure FIDO2 WebAuthN Redirection logging, set options in one of the following configuration files:
