Using the Allow Client Remote Sessions GPO, administrators can allow or block virtual desktop connections when the Windows Horizon Client is launched from within a Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) session. This security feature helps prevent unauthorized virtual desktop sessions from launching when Horizon Client is running inside a Windows RDP session.
The Allow Client Remote Sessions configuration is enabled by default, allowing virtual desktop connections to launch from RDP.
To configure Allow Client Remote Sessions (preventing virtual desktop connections from launching in RDP), registry keys and the GPO values must be modified.
