Workspace ONE Software Distribution Agent (SFD) 24.10.8

New Features

In this release for Software Distribution, we have made a few updates containing general quality and performance improvements with no new features.

Minimum Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements for this release.

• A Microsoft-supported Semi-Annual Channel Windows 11 Build / Windows 11 Version 21H2+ or Windows 10 Build / Windows 10 Version 20H2+
• Workspace ONE UEM Console 2410 or later
• .NET Framework 4.6.2

Resolved Issues

• HUBW-18604: Fixed a race condition with the internal app deployment on Windows devices while SFD was also being upgraded.
• HUBW-18706: Avoid the archival failure for old versions of applications when adding new versions to upgrade apps.
• HUBW-18909: Avoid using Msi.OpenProduct when productCode is set as the detection criteria.
• HUBW-19065: Avoid random temporary file name extensions.

Workspace ONE Software Distribution Agent (SFD) 23.02.10

New Features

• Native Application Deferral in UEM

  This feature provides the UEM administrators the ability to allow end users to defer application installations. For applications deployed through UEM Console using SFD, administrators can activate the option to allow end users to defer the application installs as per their convenience. Administrators will be allowed to define the deferral deadline to ensure the timely installation of critical applications.

• A Microsoft supported Semi-Annual Channel Windows 11 Build / Windows 11 Version 21H2 + or Windows 10 Build / Windows 10 Version 20H2 +

• Workspace ONE UEM Console 23.02

• 1 GHz processor with a minimum of 4 cores

• 8GB RAM

• 256GB Hard disk space

Resolved Issues

• HUBW-8359: Avaya Agent exe app gives ExecDeployment failure error with silent switch.

• HUBW-8267: SFD enhancement during installation/uninstallation.

Workspace ONE Software Distribution Agent (SFD) 22.06.20

New Features

In this release, we have addressed several bugs and set a foundation for upcoming features in subsequent releases.

Minimum Requirements

• A Microsoft supported Semi-Annual Channel Windows 11 Build / Windows 11 Version 21H2 + or Windows 10 Build / Windows 10 Version 20H2 +

• Workspace ONE UEM Console 22.09, 22.10, or 22.12

Resolved Issues

• HUBW-8319: Fixed an issue that was causing the app installation status to be stuck at 'Awaiting Install on Device' status.

• HUBW-8323: Fixed the issue where the progress bar was stuck when installing the app. (Requires Hub 22.10.5)

• HUBW-8692: SFD was updated to consistently generate 1GB+ logs daily.

• ESC-35497: Fixed the issue that was causing apps to show a 403 error when attempting to download Windows applications.

Resolved Issues

• HUBW-6209: Fixed incorrect app status reporting, which was caused due to overwriting the LastDeploymentStatus field when the required app check task was run.

• HUBW-7647: The detection job should exclude updated apps and admin-uninstalled apps.
