Installing Horizon Agent with the URL Content Redirection Feature Enabled

To use URL content redirection from a remote desktop or published application to a client (agent-to-client redirection), you must enable the URL Content Redirection feature when you install Horizon Agent.

Instead of double-clicking the installer file, start the Horizon Agent installation by running the following command in a command prompt window:

-Horizon-Agent-x86-YYMM-y.y.y-xxxxxx.exe /v URL_FILTERING_ENABLED=1

Follow the prompts and complete the installation.

To verify that the URL Content Redirection feature is installed, make sure that the -url-protocol-launch-helper.exe and -url-filtering-plugin.dll files are in the \Agent\bin\UrlRedirection directory. If you are using the URL Content Redirection feature with Internet Explorer, also verify that the Omnissa Horizon View URL Filtering Plugin Internet Explorer add-on is enabled.
