Installing Horizon Agent with the URL Content Redirection Feature Enabled

To use URL content redirection from a remote desktop or published application to a client (agent-to-client redirection), you must enable the URL Content Redirection feature when you install Horizon Agent.

Instead of double-clicking the installer file, start the Horizon Agent installation by running the command in a command prompt window.

Run the installer with the following command to enable the URL Content Redirection feature:
-Horizon-Client-x86-YYMM-y.y.y-xxxxxx.exe /v URL_FILTERING_ENABLED=1

Follow the prompts and complete the installation.

To verify that the URL Content Redirection feature is installed, make sure that the url-protocol-launch-helper.exe and url-filtering-plugin.dll files are in the UrlRedirection directory. If you are using the URL Content Redirection feature with Internet Explorer, also verify that the Horizon View URL Filtering Plugin Internet Explorer add-on is enabled.
