PII data can be obfuscated in App Volumes logs (App Volumes Manager, App Volumes agent, and Application Capture Command-Line program) and nginx.conf. Additionally, logging can be controlled in App Volumes agent and the capture command-line program wherein no entries are logged in the log files or console.
App Volumes Manager

PII data can also be obfuscated after configuring App Volumes Manager using the PII Logging toggle. For more information about this toggle, see the App Volumes Manager Configuration Settings Page section in the Omnissa App Volumes Administration Guide at Omnissa Product Documentation.
App Volumes agent and Application Capture Command-Line Program
You can use EnablePIILogging and LogLevel svservice parameters, type REG_DWORD, to control PII data and logging respectively. By default, neither parameter is present in App Volumes agent. These parameters can only be used as commandline options at the time of install and upgrade. When provided as commandline options, these parameters get automatically added to the registry key path, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\svservice\Parameters\LogSettings. Alternately, they can also be manually added at this path after install or upgrade.
NOTE: After manually adding the parameters, a machine restart is required.
EnablePIILogging
0 - Turn on data obfuscation in the logs
When this parameter is set to 0, the following information is obfuscated in the logs: machine SID, domain name, user name, computer UUID, UPN, path, and IP address of the App Volumes Manager.
1 - Turn off data obfuscation in the logs
When this parameter is set to 1, all PII data (as mentioned earlier) is visible in the logs.
By default, the value of this parameter is 1. Data obfuscation is turned off and all PII data is visible in the logs.
LogLevel
0 – Turn off logging
No entries are logged in the log files but continue getting logged in the console.
1 - Turn on logging
Entries are logged in the log files and the console.
By default, the value of this parameter is 1. Logging is turned on and all entries are logged in the log files and console.
