Managing Multi-session Hosts in Horizon Console

You can perform certain management tasks on farms of multi-session hosts. Note that some tasks are applicable to both manual and automated farms, whereas others are only applicable to one type of farm.

When you manually set up a multi-session host, it automatically registers with Horizon Connection Server. You cannot separately register a multi-session host with Horizon Connection Server. For a manual farm, you can perform the following management tasks:

• Edit the host.
• Add the host to the manual farm.
• Remove the host from the manual farm.
• Enable the host.
• Deactivate the host.

For an automated farm of the manual farm hosts, you can perform the following management tasks:

• Remove the host from the automated farm.
• Enable the host.
• Deactivate the host.
