MSIInstallDirectory Parameter

The MSIInstallDirectory parameter specifies the relative path of the MSI installation directory. The path is relative to %ProgramFilesDir% for installations on each machine and relative to %AppData% for installations for each user.

When you install the MSI database for all users, Omnissa ThinApp places applications in the C:\%ProgramFilesDir%\<InventoryName> (Omnissa ThinApp) directory during the installation on each machine.

When you install the MSI database for individual users, ThinApp places applications in the C:\%AppData%\<InventoryName> (Omnissa ThinApp) directory. The parameter is applied only when the MSIFilename parameter requests the generation of a Windows Installer database.

Specifying a Directory location for MSIInstallDirectory Parameter

If you do not want the MSIInstallDirectory parameter to use a location based on the inventory name, you can install a .msi file in the C:\Program Files (x86)\<my_application> directory.
