You can use Group Policy configuration to set which mode, standalone mode or integration mode, DEM Management Console runs in and to control if the DEM Management Console provides the option for you to switch between modes.
Enabling the Workspace ONE UEM Integration policy setting from the Omnissa DEM Management Console.admx template allows you to set which mode the DEM Management Console runs in. You can use the following policy options with this policy setting.
| Policy Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Mode | Select the mode you want the DEM Management Console to run in.
|
| Enforced | Select Enforced to prevent overriding the mode that DEM Management Console runs in.
Without the Enforced option selected, you can use the DEM Management Console to switch between modes.
If you select Enforced, the following conditions and behaviors apply.
|
Note: Enabling the Workspace ONE UEM Integration policy setting while the Environments or Lock down access to Omnissa DEM Management Console policy settings are configured, results in the following behavior.
- The configuration dialog in the DEM Management Console is not available, which is the existing behavior when the Environments or Lock down access to Omnissa DEM Management Console policy setting is defined.
- The Save As and Extract options are available in the main menu, unless standalone mode is enforced through the Workspace ONE UEM Integration policy setting.
- If command-line options are specified that implicitly or explicitly specify integration mode, or if the Workspace ONE UEM Integration policy setting is set to integration mode, an error message appears and the DEM Management Console exits.
