Dynamic Environment Manager FlexEngine licensing requirements vary depending on the details of your deployment scenario.
If you are using Dynamic Environment Manager on Omnissa Horizon, no license is required. In all other scenarios, FlexEngine requires a valid license at runtime.
Starting with Omnissa Dynamic Environment Manager version 2203, you will no longer be prompted to select a license file during installation. The Dynamic Environment Manager Management Console provides an option to configure a license after the installation is complete. For more information, see Managing the License in the Omnissa Dynamic Environment Manager Administration Guide at Omnissa Product Documentation.
Note: For existing deployments that have a valid license file, Dynamic Environment Manager will continue to work as expected after an upgrade to version 2203. When you want to update the license file, you must use the Dynamic Environment Manager Management Console.
