To use the Microsoft Edge (Chromium) browser with the URL Content Redirection feature on a Windows client or Windows agent machine, you must install the Horizon URL Content Redirection Helper extension in the Microsoft Edge (Chromium) browser.
You install the Horizon URL Content Redirection Helper extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Prerequisites
- Install the Microsoft Edge (Chromium) browser on the Windows client machine. For supported versions, see System Requirements for URL Content Redirection.
- If you need configure a custom user data directory path for the extension, add the Microsoft Edge ADMX Template file to your Active Directory server. See Configuring a Roaming Path for URL Content Redirection.
Procedure

In the Microsoft Edge (Chromium) browser, download and install Horizon HTML5 Redirection Extension.

Click the Add extensions from other stores button at the top of the browser window and click Allow.

Click Add to Chrome.

When you are prompted to add the extension to Microsoft Edge (Chromium), click Add extension.

To verify that the extension is installed, click the Settings and more (…) icon in the upper-right corner of the browser window and select Extensions.
Horizon URL Content Redirection Helper appears in the Installed extensions list.
Note: After installation, the extension must either be disabled then enabled or the browser must be restarted before the first use.
