Before you can log in and connect to a remote desktop or published application, a system administrator at your company must set up your user account. If Omnissa Horizon Client prompts you for a server name and domain, your system administrator must tell you the server name to type and the domain to select.
Note: If you do not know your user name or password, or how to reset your password, contact the system administrator at your company.
If You See a Message About Logging In from Another Application
If you receive a message stating that Horizon expects your credentials from another application or server, it means your organization has configured authentication to occur through a different system rather than directly in Horizon Client.
What to do:
- Log in through the designated access method. If your company provides access via a corporate portal or another app, use that method instead of logging in directly through Horizon Client.
- Check with your IT department. If you are unsure how to proceed, your IT team can provide the correct login steps.
- Try Horizon HTML Access. If available, you may be able to access Horizon through a web browser instead of the client.
When you are ready to log in and get started, see Connect to a Remote Desktop or Published Application.
