Taking Screen Captures of Remote Desktops on Horizon Windows Client

The Horizon Windows Client has a feature that provides for taking a screen shot within a remote Windows desktop.

If your administrator allows you to take screen captures in your remote desktop sessions, then after you've launched your Windows desktop session, you can use the standard Windows features within the Windows OS to take a screen capture.

For example, in most Windows operating systems, you press your keyboard's Print Screen key to initiate taking the screen shot. Other Windows operating systems include the Snipping Tool in the Start menu.

The methods by which you can take a screen shot within the remote Windows desktops will depend on what your Horizon administrator has made available in your Windows desktop. That is up to your Horizon administrator.

For information on how Horizon adminstrators configure this feature, see Configuring Screen Capture.
