Workspace ONE UEM PIV-D Manager for iOS Release Notes describes the new features and enhancements in each release. This page contains a summary of the new capabilities, issues that have been resolved, and known issues that have been reported in each release over the last 12 months.

New Features

  • Added Health Check features to enable users to more-easily identify issues with PIV-D Manager, certificate provisioning and expiration directly within the PIV-D Manager application.

  • Now, PDF signing is a generally available feature for all users and customers of PIV-D Manager.

    • Users will be able to digitally sign PDF files using Derived Credentials.

  • Implemented Cache App configuration for configurable time to improve the user experience.

    • Administrators can now specify how long PIV-D Manager should use a cached copy of the application configuration.

    • This feature enables faster application startup time and reduces the number of interactions with the Workspace ONE UEM server.

    • Time from app launch to full productivity is significantly improved.

    • Administrators can configure cache time to balance end-user experience and the desire for always-up-to-date content.

  • Added usability enhancements for users with multiple YubiKey accessories to enable easier identification and the selection of the appropriate accessory when performing actions.

  • Implemented encryption for signed documents stored in PIV-D Manager.

    • Encrypt and store Signed documents in PIV-D Manager.

    • Provide integrations for other apps/SDK to access encrypted docs.

  • Added support for iOS 17 and iPadOS 17.

  • Improvements were made to accessibility, UI, and general product stability.

New Features

  • Improved how duplicate credentials are handled from the same provider when Multi-Credential support is enabled.

  • This release of PIV-D Manager includes the latest versions of Yubikey and PSPDFKit SDKs.

  • Enhancements were made for sending a certificate when multi-credential support is enabled.

  • Improvements were made to credential provisioning using persistent token extension.

  • Improvements were made to accessibility, UI, and general product stability.

Workspace ONE Applications, when pushed as managed apps from the App Store or deployed via VPP (Volume Purchase Program) method, are known to have issues on iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 devices.   • Added AuthentX ID by Xtec as a provider.

  • Improved error handling and application configuration.

Workspace ONE PIV-D Manager 22.10 - November 2022

New Features

  • Added support for iOS and iPadOS Version 16.

  • Implemented configurable user presence protection for the Persistent Device Token extension, also known as CryptoTokenKit Provider. The Configuration Value for Configuration Key: UserPresenceProtection is set to "True" by default. To turn the protection off, set it to False.

  • Now, you can configure ConnectorDeviceIdentifier and ConnectorAppName settings to pass on device identifiers for enabling Workspace ONE UEM connectors. These settings are available for Entrust and Intercede issuance providers.

  • Fixed bugs and implemented stability improvements.
