Shortcomings of the default Software Distribution process
The Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM console deploys Windows applications from a secure file storage system or a Content Delivery Network (CDN) in the default software distribution process. Windows applications are large and it takes time to download to devices.
Downloading Windows applications can also increase the traffic on communication channels. Multiple devices simultaneously use the channel to retrieve the large application from the CDN or file storage. This constant traffic can hamper the network availability needed for other critical applications.
