You can deploy captured applications with deployment tools, on a network file share, as basic executable files on user desktops, or in a Omnissa Horizon environment.
The centralized deployment mode streams application packages to users. Omnissa ThinApp streaming provides applications files and registry settings to users based on an application request regardless of the application size. The data streamed for a large application that is used infrequently and a small application that is used frequently is the same.
ThinApp works with all major deployment tools. For detailed information, see deployment instructions from the tool vendors. You can also use the Active Directory mechanism to publish ThinApp MSI packages, just as any other MSI packages.
When you use a deployment tool, you create MSI files for the captured applications and follow the same process as you would to deploy any other MSI files. ThinApp MSI packages use the thinreg.exe utility to register packages on each system.
