Accessing Omni from the UEM Console

Omni, Omnissa's AI assistant, is available as a full-page experience directly within the Workspace ONE UEM console. When you have the right permissions, an Omni entry appears in the main menu of the UEM console. This lets you access the full Omni experience without leaving the console.

This topic describes how to access Omni from the UEM console, the prerequisites you need before you begin, and the considerations to review before accessing Omni.

Prerequisites

Verify that the following requirements are met before attempting to access Omni from the UEM console:

• Sign in with Omnissa Connect credentials. You must authenticate using your Omnissa Connect account. If you sign in using a basic username and password, the Omni navigation entry is unavailable, regardless of your role assignments.
• Have the required Omni permissions assigned. Your Omnissa Connect administrator must assign you the appropriate Omni AI role in Omnissa Connect. Without this permission, the Omni entry does not appear in the console navigation.

• Confirm that Omni is enabled for your organization. Contact your system administrator to confirm that Omni has been enabled for your organization before proceeding.

Considerations

Review the following before accessing or managing Omni in the UEM console.

• Permission changes take effect at the next sign-in. If your Omni permissions are updated in Omnissa Connect while you have an active UEM console session, the changes do not apply to your current session. Sign out and sign back in to use the updated permissions.
• Basic authentication does not support Omni access. Only administrators who authenticate through Omnissa Connect can access Omni. Basic authentication (username and password) does not provide access to Omni.

Access Omni from the UEM Console

After the prerequisites are set up, access Omni through the UEM console.

To access Omni:

1. Sign in to the Workspace ONE UEM console using your Omnissa Connect credentials.
2. In the main menu, select Omni. The full-page Omni experience opens within the UEM console.
