Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for Windows Release Notes describe the new features and enhancements in each release. This page contains a summary of the new capabilities, issues that have been resolved, and known issues that have been reported in each release over the last 12 months.

New Features

  • Step-Up Enrollment from Registered Mode to Full MDM (OMA-DM)
    • Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub already supports step-up enrollment from Registered mode to Intelligent Hub Managed mode. This release extends step-up enrollment support for Windows devices currently enrolled in Registered mode by allowing administrators to upgrade these devices directly to Full MDM (OMA-DM) management without requiring a device wipe or end-user re-enrollment.
  • Step-Up Enrollment from Hub Managed to Full MDM (OMA-DM)
    • Devices already enrolled in Intelligent Hub Managed mode can now be stepped up to Full MDM management. When a step-up enrollment is triggered, the Intelligent Hub automatically initiates native OMA-DM enrollment on the device. This unlocks additional capabilities that require the native Windows MDM channel — including Microsoft CSP-based profiles, Conditional Access and Autopilot support — while preserving the existing device record and all Hub-based management. No device wipe or end-user action is required.
  • Automatic Step-Up to OMADM on Enrollment User Sign-In
    • A new Auto Step-Up setting allows administrators to automatically transition eligible Hub Managed devices to Full MDM management without issuing individual step-up commands. When enabled at the organization group level, the Intelligent Hub automatically initiates OMA-DM enrollment upon user sign-in post-enrollment or after device reassignment, ensuring devices reach full management with zero admin intervention per device.
  • Real-Time Onboarding Workflow Progress on the Post-Enrollment Onboarding Screen
    • The Post-Enrollment Onboarding (PEO) screen in Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for Windows now displays real-time progress of Onboarding Workflows during device enrollment.
      • Workflow step-by-step tracking: Tracks each resource (apps, profiles, scripts) with real-time in-progress, completed, or failed status updates.
      • Progress bar indicator: A dynamic progress bar shows the overall completion percentage of the Onboarding Workflow.
      • Failure visibility: Clearly indicates if a workflow step fails.
      • Seamless transition: Automatically transitions to application installation progress once the workflow completes.
    • Previously, the PEO screen only showed application install and uninstall progress. This enhancement gives users full visibility into the device setup process, improving transparency and reducing help desk calls during enrollment.
  • Focused Enrollment: Lock Windows devices during post-enrollment onboarding
    • Focused Enrollment for Windows devices allows IT administrators to lock the device during the Post-Enrollment Onboarding (PEO) experience. When enabled, users are prevented from navigating away from the onboarding screen, ensuring that all critical setup steps such as profile configurations, security app installations, scripts, and workflow executions complete before the user accesses the device.
    • Key behaviors when Focused Enrollment is enabled:
      • Get Started button control: The Get Started button on the PEO screen remains disabled until all onboarding steps are complete, preventing users from skipping mandatory setup.
      • Keyboard input blocking: All keyboard shortcuts are blocked during onboarding, except the PEO Screen Exit Keystroke and CTRL+ALT+DEL, delivering a kiosk-like experience. Mouse and touch inputs are also blocked.
        • Note: This feature is intended to guide end users through onboarding completion and prevent inadvertent bypassing of setup steps. It is not intended as a security enforcement mechanism.
      • Task Manager disabled: Task Manager is automatically disabled during focused enrollment to prevent users from terminating the onboarding process.
  • Relay Server support extended to internal applications for Windows
    • Relay Server support is now extended to internal applications on Windows devices. Previously limited to Product Provisioning, Relay Servers can now be used to deliver internal applications, enabling organizations to improve delivery speed and reduce internet bandwidth consumption in low-bandwidth or offline environments. Administrators can enable relay server delivery per app directly from the Internal Apps configuration screen under Deployment Options using a new toggle. Apps are only seeded to relay servers when explicitly marked for relay-based delivery.
  • Script Execution - Increased Size Support and Security Hardening
    • New transport mechanism (stdin / named-pipe) used for delivering scripts to execution engine. Replaces old command-line–based delivery ensuring larger scripts now execute successfully.
    • Previously size limit - 32k characters for System and 8k for User Context with admin privileges.
    • Run scripts up to 1 million characters without impacting device performance. While max script size of up to 12 million characters is supported, we recommend testing them for device performance before deployment.
  • Note
    • The following Software Distribution Agent (SFD) version is bundled with the Intelligent Hub: 26.07.

New Features

Granular Patch Management

Granular Patch Management makes it easier for administrators to find and deploy specific Microsoft Windows Updates (KBs) to selected Windows 10/11 and Windows Server devices whenever needed. Instead of relying on ring-based or phased update policies, admins have more direct control and can quickly push critical or zero-day patches. With this feature, you can search the Windows Update catalog right from Workspace ONE UEM using details like KB number, title, classification, or supported OS, and then deploy those updates to specific device groups with your preferred deployment settings. UEM 2604 is the minimum version required to support this feature.

Windows Server Management

Windows Server management is now generally available. This feature was previously available under Limited Availability and is now enabled by default for licensed tenants.

Administrators can enroll and manage Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025 devices, including Server Core, using Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub management.

Supported capabilities include:

  • Hub-managed profiles: ADMX-backed, DDUI-backed, Certificate, Custom Settings, and Managed Resources
  • Security Baselines enforcement and remediation
  • Granular Patch Management with scheduled maintenance windows, zero-day patching, deferral notifications, and per-device patch lifecycle logging
  • Internal application deployment via SFD with assignment-level retention control on enterprise wipe or unassignment
  • Sensors and Scripts for custom data collection and on-demand or scheduled actions
  • Roles and Features Sampling for automatic inventory of installed server roles and features
  • Freestyle Orchestrator workflows with sequenced execution and conditional logic
  • Workspace ONE Assist for remote view, remote control, file transfer, and remote shell

Application Uninstallation via Unified App Sampling

Administrators can now remotely trigger the uninstallation of applications collected through Unified App Sampling. This enhancement lets you control apps that are not managed, are unwanted, or not allowed on devices from the Workspace ONE UEM Console or through the supported APIs. UEM 2604 is the minimum version required to support this feature.

  • HUBW-21704: Improved the file signature validation component to properly release unmanaged resources, enhancing stability, and reducing potential memory leaks.
  • HUBW-21708: Updated the bundled Software Distribution Agent (SFD) version to 26.2.1.
  • HUBW-21745: Corrected visual alignment of app images and text in the Windows Hub catalog so app tiles display consistently.
  • HUBW-21498: Fixed issue where Application installation failed with Offline PPKG.

Next Gen Windows Management with Intelligent Hub Managed Mode

Workspace ONE UEM is introducing a new Windows enrollment mode called Hub Managed that delivers full Intelligent Hub–based management for devices that cannot use native OMADM management or is transitioning from another OMADM based management tool.

With Hub Managed mode, IT can:

  • Fully manage Windows devices enrolled only via Intelligent Hub

    • Deliver and manage apps (via Software Distribution Agent aka SFD)
    • Assign and enforce Hub-targeted profiles and ADMX based profiles
    • Use workflows to orchestrate multi-step deployments
    • Leverage baselines, sensors, and scripts for configuration, monitoring, and remediation
    • Continue to use Tunnel profiles across all enrollment types

  • Start with Intelligent Hub Managed for new enrollments via OG based settings

    • Enable Intelligent Hub managed mode for brand new enrollments via the OG based settings located within All Settings >Devices & Users > General > Enrollment > Management mode.
    • Use existing provisioning methods like Dropship or Silent enrollment.

Note: OOBE like Autopilot is not supported on Hub Managed mode due to its dependency on OMADM.

  • Step up from Registered to Hub Managed without re-enrollment

    • For existing Hub Registered devices, when ready, perform a server-side “step up” to Hub Managed
    • Devices automatically gain full Hub-based management with no end-user re-enrollment

  • Expand Hub Catalog capabilities

    • End users on Hub Managed devices can install/uninstall applications and execute workflows/scripts on-demand directly from the Intelligent Hub catalog, similar to Full MDM devices.

Leave Hub Installed after Un-Enrollment for P+V

This feature introduces a new admin-configurable setting allows Hub to remain installed when a device is unenrolled. This capability supports Horizon workflows where UEM is used to configure VM Templates (Gold Images).

IT admins can now easily enroll templates for staging and then enroll clones for day-two management without reinstalling Hub.

Enhanced Reliability for Windows Hub Auto-Upgrades with Background Downloads

Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for Windows is now distributed using Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) during auto‑upgrades.

Previously, Hub upgrades used stream download and the Hub package size could cause performance and reliability issues, especially during auto‑upgrade.

With this change:

  • Hub auto‑upgrade downloads from Workspace ONE UEM now use BITS, a Windows component commonly used by Windows Update and other Microsoft services.
  • BITS runs downloads in the background, intelligently manages network usage, and automatically resumes after network interruptions or device restarts.

Benefits:

  • More reliable downloads for Hub upgrades.
  • Improved network efficiency due to throttling and background transfers.
  • Automatic resume for interrupted or paused downloads.

Note: If Hub is uploaded as a native app, SFD already uses BITS to download applications. This enhancement extends those benefits to Hub auto‑upgrade as well.

Support for ADMX Profiles (Administrative Templates)

Workspace ONE UEM now supports Administrative Template (ADMX), providing a unified and scalable way to manage Windows policies across the device fleet. With this feature, you can manage all administrative templates for Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server directly from the UEM console.

You are provided with Pre-Uploaded ADMX templates for common applications, including those for Microsoft Office, Omnissa Horizon, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and more. This release also supports the coexistence of Baselines and ADMX profiles.

Support for Baselines in Machine Mode when there is No Active User Logged In

Previously, Baselines were applied and refreshed only when an active Windows user session was present. With this release, both device-level and user-level Baselines are now applied and re-applied regardless of whether a user is logged in.

  • When no user is logged in, only device-level Baselines take effect.
  • User-level Baselines are applied but become effective once an end user signs in.

This enhancement occurs automatically—no additional configuration is required.

What’s New

    Baselines are now applied and refreshed even when no Windows user session is active.

  • Baseline Conflict Resolution

    When multiple Baselines target the same device, they are applied in order of creation date—newest wins.

Windows Server: Support for Key Workspace ONE Profiles

We are extending Workspace ONE UEM profile support to Windows Server devices as part of our broader Windows Server management initiative.

Admins can now use a selected set of existing Windows profiles with supported Windows Server versions, including:

  • Certificate profiles for installing certificates on servers (SCEP not supported)
  • Custom settings profiles for applying advanced agent configuration
  • Managed Resources profiles to control whether Workspace ONE resources are kept or removed

Profiles are created and managed through the existing Windows “legacy” profile user interface, with a new option to target either Windows desktop or Windows Server. Windows desktop behavior is unchanged.

This enhancement allows you to reuse familiar Windows profile workflows to configure both desktops and servers, helping standardize management of your Windows estate while we continue to expand Windows Server profile coverage in future releases.

Intel C2C Client Observability and Troubleshooting Improvement

This release improves supportability and observability for Intel C2C on Windows devices.

Intel C2C relies on several components (drivers, services, and network requirements), and its effective operation depends on each being in the correct state. This release enhances the visibility into these states for both administrators and support teams.

Enhancements include:

  • Surfacing Intel C2C status and requirements in the console so administrators can:

    • Verify that all prerequisites are configured correctly.
    • Quickly identify issues impacting feature functionality.

  • Dedicated logging for Intel C2C:

    • C2C‑specific logs are separated from general Hub logs.
    • Logging is enriched with additional detail to accelerate troubleshooting.

BIOS Profile - Support for New Signer of Dell Trusted Device

We’ve updated the BIOS verification workflow in Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for Windows devices that use Dell Trusted Device.

Dell has deprecated the previous BIOS check method in recent agent versions. To ensure continuity, Intelligent Hub now uses Dell’s latest, officially supported integration to retrieve BIOS verification results and report them into UEM compliance as before.

This change restores and futureproofs BIOS integrity reporting for supported Dell Trusted Device agent versions, with no configuration changes required for admins.

Privilege Elevation with Dynamic Environment Manager

Introducing application Privilege Elevation Profile for Windows Desktop devices, enabling administrators to grant elevated permissions to specific applications without requiring end users to have local administrator rights through integration with Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM) agent.

Key capabilities:

Multiple Elevation Rule Types

  • Default Elevation - Set default elevation behavior with optional user message.
  • Path-Based - Elevate applications by file path or folder location
  • Hash-Based - Elevate applications by SHA256 hash for maximum security
  • Publisher-Based - Elevate applications by digital signature publisher
  • Argument-Based - Elevate applications with specific arguments
  • Path Based User Installed - Elevate applications installed in user directories

The Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub tracks all application elevation activities and sends these events to UEM, allowing administrators to view and monitor elevation-related events through the device's Troubleshooting page.

User Experience:

  • Optional user message prompt when applications are elevated
  • Customizable message text and description
  • Hub will display a toast notification to the user when the Privilege Elevation Profile is delivered to the device for the first time, indicating that a sign out and sign in or a device restart is required to complete the setup.

  • Empower users to perform necessary administrative actions without granting full local admin rights.
  • Reduce security risk while maintaining productivity.

Streamline Application Management with Enterprise Application Repository v2 (EARv2)

This Limited Availability feature simplifies how administrators discover, configure, and deploy over 8000 enterprise applications for Windows devices in Workspace ONE UEM. The new Enterprise Application Repository (EAR) provides a centralized, secure source of pre-vetted applications that can be managed directly from the UEM Console, minimizing manual packaging and configuration.

  • Centralized Application Catalog: Easily navigate, search, and add trusted applications from the Enterprise Application Repository directly from the UEM Console.
  • Automated Configuration: The repository automatically generates commands to install, uninstall, and detect, reducing manual setup and improving consistency.
  • Brownfield App Linking: Existing (manually uploaded) applications can now be linked to the repository for automatic version tracking and update visibility.

Automatic Update of Third-Party Applications

Workspace ONE UEM now supports automated application patching for apps imported from the Enterprise Application Repository (EARv2) or brownfield applications where the repository ID was added. Administrators can configure update schedules to ensure applications remain current without manual intervention.

  • Auto-Update During App Addition: Administrators can enable automatic updates when adding an application from EARv2.
  • Auto-Update for Brownfield applications: Administrators can now add the repository ID to existing applications and enable the same auto update functionality as for EAR added applications.

Workspace ONE now provides an enhanced application inventory, ensuring consistent and accurate application reporting across platforms.

  • Unified Application Sampling: A new sampling framework collects application data consistently across Intelligent Hub, UEM, and DEX/DEEM.
  • Comprehensive App Coverage: All installed software, including Win32 and .appx applications, is now reported.

Ability to Leave Applications on Device if its Un-Assigned or Device is Unenrolled

Admins can now control, at a per application and assignment level, whether Windows applications are retained or removed when a device is enterprise wiped or when an app is unassigned. This applies to Windows desktop and Windows Server devices and gives IT much finer control than the previous all or nothing global behavior.

With two new assignment level options — “Keep app on enterprise wipe” and “Keep app on unassignment” — you can choose to:

  • Always keep critical apps (for example, security tools, VPN, firewall) on wipe or unassignment
  • Automatically remove business or sensitive apps when devices are lost, stolen, or unenrolled
  • Reduce end-user disruption when apps are accidentally unassigned, and speed up recovery after troubleshooting wipes by leaving large apps in place

Access Application Deployment Logs within Device details - Apps Tab

You can now view the last deployment log for each managed Windows application directly from the device’s details page in the UEM Console. A new Log column on the Device Details > Apps > Managed Apps tab surfaces a View link for managed apps, opening the latest deployment log inline in the console.

Troubleshooting failed app deployments on Windows devices has traditionally required admins to:

  • Request full device logs
  • Wait for the device to upload a large, compressed log bundle
  • Download, extract, and manually search through multiple log files

With App Last Deployment Logs, admins can now:

  • See exactly what happened in the last deployment of a specific app on a specific Windows device, without pulling full device logs
  • Reduce time-to-resolution for deployment issues by going straight to the relevant app log lines
  • Improve support efficiency by giving teams quick, targeted visibility into app installation problems
  • Minimize impact on infrastructure, since logs are uploaded on error or on-demand rather than through bulk log collections

App Volumes Applications On Demand in Hub Catalog

Intelligent Hub for Windows now integrates with App Volumes so that App Volumes–delivered applications show up directly in the Hub app catalog on Windows devices.

When the App Volumes Agent is installed and running on a Windows device:

  • App Volumes applications appear in the Hub catalog alongside other apps.
  • Users can view details, search, sort, favorite, and launch App Volumes apps from the same catalog experience they already use.
  • When a user launches an App Volumes app, Hub hands off a secure URI to the local App Volumes Manager, which then launches the application on the device.

If the App Volumes Agent is not installed or cannot be detected, the Hub catalog and search behave as before, and App Volumes apps are simply not shown.

Support for App-upload-via-link

Workspace ONE UEM now allows administrators to add internal applications as external links without requiring UEM to download, store, or distribute the application binaries.

Fastlane Support for Sensor

This enhancement enables administrators to receive device notifications at the point of sensor assignment. The feature is designed to provide real-time access to sensor data for up to 20,000 devices.

Real-Time Status of On-Demand Scripts and Workflows in App Catalog

End users can now see real-time status updates for on-demand scripts and workflows that are launched from the Intelligent Hub App Catalog on Windows. Instead of waiting for the next sync or manually refresh, users immediately see whether a script or workflow is running, has failed, or has completed. This release:

  • Improves transparency for end users running troubleshooting or configuration scripts from the catalog
  • Reduces confusion and duplicate runs when users don’t know if something is still executing

Intelligent Hub App catalog: New List View and Improved Search

The Application Catalog in Intelligent Hub now supports a List View, making it easier for end users to browse and find applications—especially in environments with large application catalogs.

With this update:

  • End users can switch between List View and Grid View using a simple on-screen toggle
  • List View improves visibility and navigation for customers with hundreds of assigned applications
  • Search results now display longer application names, reducing truncation and making it easier to distinguish similarly named apps

These enhancements are particularly helpful for organizations with large and complex application portfolios, where long application names and dense catalogs previously made discovery and navigation more difficult.

“For You” Tab Native Migration

The For You tab in Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub for Windows has been migrated from hybrid to fully native UI, improving performance, consistency, and user experience.

The following experiences are now backed by the native UI:

  • Notifications on the For You tab, including high‑priority (P0, P1) and standard notifications.
  • Surveys surfaced through the For You tab.
  • History view for previously received items.

Windows Intelligent Hub now uses an enhanced log formatter that keeps logs compact while making them significantly easier to read and troubleshoot. Stack traces and messages are now neatly indented and formatted across multiple lines, without the excessive width and noise of the previous logging style.

Correlation IDs to Windows Hub Logs for Easier Troubleshooting

Windows Hub now adds correlation IDs to its logs and outgoing REST calls to make troubleshooting faster and more precise. Each major workflow (such as enrollment, reassignment, sync, and command processing) is automatically tagged with its own correlation ID, which is then consistently propagated across all related log entries and REST requests.

This allows administrators and support engineers to:

  • Trace a single device workflow end-to-end across multiple logs
  • Distinguish between multiple concurrent flows running on the same device

No manual configuration is required; correlation ID management is handled by the Windows Hub logging framework and REST pipeline.

Intelligent Hub Application Version Control:

This new feature empowers administrators with precise control over which version of the Intelligent Hub is installed on Windows devices, supporting both Win32 and ARM platforms. You can now deploy Intelligent Hub updates independently of Workspace ONE UEM console upgrades and gain direct access to Beta builds without manual download/upload steps. Unified version control is available for both Intel/AMD (Win32) and ARM-based Windows devices.

Once enabled (available upon request via Omnissa Support or your Account Team), the existing setting Intelligent Hub Automatic Updates in the UEM Console (System Settings > Devices & Users > Microsoft > Windows > Intelligent Hub Application) is renamed to Use Intelligent Hub Version Control. A new section, Intelligent Hub Target Seeding, is introduced, allowing version assignment at the Organizational Group (OG) level.

Key Improvements:

  • Assign a specific version to a production OG to ensure consistency, while using the latest GA or Beta version in a test OG for validation.
  • After successful testing, update the production OG to the validated version.
  • Applies instantly to newly enrolled devices (including OOBE and Autopilot). Existing devices will auto-update within 48 hours if running an older version.
  • Devices already running a newer version will not be downgraded. Downgrades are not supported.

Behavior Based on Previous Settings:

  • If Intelligent Hub Automatic Updates was previously enabled, the new setting is automatically enabled and defaults to Latest available —preserving current behavior.
  • If it was disabled, the new version control setting remains disabled.

Faster SFD Delivery and Installation via the Intelligent Hub

Workspace ONE now supports a faster and more efficient installation of the Software Distribution Framework (SFD) by shifting the process from the traditional OMA-DM channel to a Hub-based installation. With this enhancement, SFD is bundled with Hub and is installed immediately after enrollment, enabling earlier application deployment and improving overall device readiness.

Key Improvements:

  • SFD is now installed via the Intelligent Hub, independent of the OMA-DM workflow.
  • Installation occurs immediately after enrollment as the SFD package is part of the Intelligent Hub, reducing delays in the provisioning process.
  • Applications can begin installing sooner, accelerating time-to-productivity.
  • Devices reach a usable state faster, enhancing the end-user experience.

This update addresses previous challenges associated with deployment timelines and ensures a smoother, more efficient onboarding experience.

Enhanced Offline Domain Join (ODJ) Configuration – Now Decoupled from Enrollment

The Offline Domain Join (ODJ) configuration process has been significantly enhanced to improve reliability, flexibility —especially in Autopilot Hybrid Join scenarios.

Key Improvements:

Configuring Offline Domain Join is no longer tied to the device enrollment process. It can now be applied at any time, significantly reducing the risk of failures caused by race conditions or timeouts during Autopilot enrollments.

With this update, ODJ can also be configured as a step within the Freestyle workflows, especially the new Onboarding workflows introduced recently, enabling IT teams to properly sequence and stage devices before they reach end users. This ensures a smoother onboarding experience and more consistent device readiness. For more information, see Offline Domain Join in Workflows

Administrators can now deploy ODJ even after a device has been moved to a different Organizational Group (OG), including child OGs. Additionally, to maintain naming consistency, a device’s computer name will only change if it is not already joined to a domain.

Support for Administrative Template (ADMX) with Profiles - Technical Preview

Workspace ONE UEM now supports Administrative Template (ADMX), giving IT administrators a unified and scalable way to manage Windows policies across their device fleet.

Key Improvements:

  • Manage all administrative templates for Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server directly from the UEM console.
  • Pre-Uploaded ADMX templates for common applications—including those for Microsoft Office, Omnissa Horizon, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and more.
  • Known Issue: Reapplying Baselines will reset policies applied via the ADMX profiles. Ability for Baselines and ADMX profiles to seamlessly co-exist will be introduced when this feature will be Generally Available. Launch Native and App Volumes MSI Apps Directly from Intelligent Hub for Windows:

With the introduction of this enhanced app catalog functionality, end users can now launch native applications and App Volumes MSI apps directly from the Intelligent Hub app catalog—alongside the existing ability to launch web and Horizon apps.

Key Improvements:

  • App Launch Support: Native apps and App Volumes MSI apps can now be launched from within the Hub catalog.
  • Admin Control: IT administrators can define custom launch commands for all applications in the app configuration within Workspace ONE UEM.
  • Improved User Experience: End users no longer need to manually locate and open native apps post-installation—they can launch them directly from the Hub interface.

Previously, users could only install native applications via Intelligent Hub but were unable to launch them directly. Now, with launch commands configured in UEM, Hub will execute the defined command, providing a seamless way for users to both install and launch apps from a single interface. This enhancement simplifies app access and boosts productivity by reducing the number of steps needed to open frequently used apps

Intelligent Hub Deferred Enrollment:

Intelligent Hub now supports Deferred Enrollment, enabling simplified and automatic device onboarding into Workspace ONE UEM. Deferred Enrollment allows devices to be pre-configured with Intelligent Hub, but delays the actual enrollment until first user login. This is ideal for automating device enrollment of Horizon Cloud virtual machines (VMs) into UEM, reducing manual setup and streamlining the end-user experience.

How It Works:

  1. Intelligent Hub is installed in the Horizon Gold Image with the Deferred Enrollment parameter enabled.
  2. New VMs are provisioned with Hub pre-installed.
  3. Enrollment is triggered automatically when a user logs in for the first time.
  4. The device is enrolled into UEM and receives user-specific configurations.

Logging and Troubleshooting Enhancements

This release introduces several powerful enhancements to improve visibility, streamline troubleshooting, and reduce time-to-resolution for both end users and administrators.

  1. Log Submission from Intelligent Hub: End users can now send logs directly to Workspace ONE UEM from the Hub Support tab, with two new options added alongside the existing “Collect Logs” feature:

    • Send Hub Logs to UEM: Automatically uploads all Intelligent Hub-related logs to the UEM console. Logs are accessible under Device Details → Attachments → Documents.
    • Send Other Logs to UEM: Sends logs from DEEM, Workspace ONE Assist, and Workspace ONE Tunnel to the same location in the UEM console.
    • Users receive a confirmation once the log upload is complete, improving transparency and support efficiency.

  2. Application Deployment Event Logging: To enhance visibility into application deployment, Intelligent Hub now sends detailed application deployment event summaries to the UEM console under Device Details → Troubleshooting → Event Logs.

    These event logs include the following event data: First detection status, Pre-condition checks, Final detection status, Exit codes and more. This provides administrators with deeper insights into app install/uninstall outcomes and helps identify root causes of deployment failures faster.

  3. Filter Logs by Duration and Component: Administrators can now filter collected logs based on timeframe and log source, making it easier to isolate relevant data during troubleshooting.

  • Timeframe Filters: All logs, or logs from the last 1, 3, 7, or 14 days

  • Component Filters:

    • Hub: Logs from Intelligent Hub, App Deployment Agent, Provisioning Agent, Factory Provisioning, and MDM

UEM will then determine the distribution to device architectures in the backend, limiting flexibility.

Key Improvements:

  • Multi-Selection Option: Administers can now select multiple processor architectures during app deployment. The available options include 32-bit, 64-bit, ARM32, and ARM64.
  • Granular Control: This enhancement allows for more precise control over app distribution. For example:
    • Distribute a 32-bit app 'X' to devices with 32-bit and 64-bit architectures only, excluding ARM64.
    • Distribute a 64-bit app 'Y' to devices with 64-bit and ARM64 architectures, utilizing x64 emulation for compatibility.

New Launch Option: Intelligent Hub in Maximized Screen Mode

We’ve added support for launching the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub UI in maximized screen mode, offering a more immersive and centralized experience for end users.

What’s New:

A new Launch Type-> Maximize option is now available for the Hub UI. When enabled, the Intelligent Hub will open in a full-screen (maximized) window automatically upon user login or system boot. This enhancement is ideal for organizations that want to position the Hub as the primary interface for accessing Line of Business (LOB) applications—whether native apps or Horizon virtual apps.

Previously, the process involved uploading multiple small files from Workspace ONE Hub to UEM, requiring admins to download and merge numerous separate files, which was time consuming for troubleshooting large log files. With the latest update, logs are uploaded and automatically merged into a single file (up to 200MB), reducing the effort and time needed to troubleshoot devices.   • Optimized SFD Download Behavior: Applications using scripts for detection or uninstallation no longer require a full application download when the cache is cleared. This optimization significantly reduces bandwidth consumption and speeds up application deployment.
  • Hub Provisioning Mode and command line device enrollment: These enhancements to Hub provide additional enrollment flows for Windows physical and virtual machines. The processes of installing the Intelligent Hub agent and performing device enrollment have been separated. By using the new Hub Provisioning Mode, Hub can now be installed on a template PC or virtual machine such as a Horizon Gold Image. In this release, we’ve made several updates containing general quality and performance improvements and the following new features.

  • Support for Multi User on Windows Desktops

    • Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub now supports Multi User devices on Modern Stack enabled environments. Workspace ONE will now update the enrollment user based on the logged in Windows User. The UEM console will track each user’s log in history in the Shared Devices tab. Admins will also have the ability to pause user reassignment for troubleshooting via the device details page or using a user group restriction in System Settings. For more information on Multi User Support on Windows, please see our documentation on Techzone.

  • Dark Mode support within Intelligent Hub

    • Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub now supports Dark Mode. You can enable Dark Mode in Hub Services under the Branding Tab.

  • Silent Enrollment for Non-AD Environments

    • Workspace ONE environments that do not leverage Active Directory (SCIM, OKTA, Other Ldap, etc.) now support silent enrollment. With this enhancement, there is no longer a requirement (for any directory type including AD) to have line of sight to Domain Controller for silent enrollment.

  • Notification badge/icon indicator on Intelligent Hub icon in menu bar

  • Enhanced Upgrade Experience

    • The Intelligent Hub upgrade can now be executed from anywhere on the device. Admins no longer need to run the controlled upgrade process. Admins can simply run the MSI installer and upgrade the agent.

New Features

  • In this release, we’ve made a few updates containing general quality and performance improvements and the following new features.

  • Support for Multi User on Windows Desktops

    • Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub now supports Multi User devices on Modern Stack enabled environments. Workspace ONE will now update the enrollment user based on the logged in Windows User. The UEM console will track each user's log in history in the Shared Devices tab. Admins will also have the ability to pause user reassignment for troubleshooting via the device details page or using a user group restriction in System Settings. For more information on Multi User Support on Windows, please see our documentation on Techzone.

  • Dark Mode support within Intelligent Hub

    • Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub now supports Dark Mode. You can enable Dark Mode in Hub Services under the Branding Tab.

  • Silent Enrollment for Non-AD Environments

    • Workspace ONE environments that do not leverage Active Directory (SCIM, OKTA, Other Ldap, etc.) now support silent enrollment. With this enhancement, there is no longer a requirement (for any directory type including AD) to have line of sight to Domain Controller for silent enrollment.

  • Notification badge/icon indicator on Intelligent Hub icon in menu bar

  • Enhanced Upgrade Experience

    • The Intelligent Hub upgrade can now be executed from anywhere on the device. Admins no longer need to run the controlled upgrade process. Admins can simply run the MSI installer and upgrade the agent.

  • Experience Analytics

    • Adds support for battery and its health information for Windows devices
    • Adds support for LAN & Internet latency information for Windows devices
