Installing Horizon Agent with the UNC Path Redirection Feature Enabled

To use UNC Path redirection from a remote desktop or published application to a client (agent-to-client redirection), you must enable the UNC Path Redirection feature when you install Horizon Agent.

Instead of double-clicking the installer file, start the Horizon Agent installation by running the following command in a command prompt window:

-Horizon-Agent-x86_64-YYMM-y.y.y-xxxxxx.exe /v ENABLE_UNC_REDIRECTION=1

Follow the prompts and complete the installation.

To verify that the UNC Path Redirection feature is installed, make sure that the vmuncsvc.exe and uncRedirection.dll files are in the \Agent\bin\UncRedirection directory.
