Centralized Mode of Deployment

For users who access the same application from different devices, the centralized mode provides a consistent user experience.

Centralized mode allows you to store an application centrally, where multiple users can access it. This mode deploys and updates an application package to multiple users through a desktop or Start menu shortcut. When the user runs the application, the application begins to stream to memory the contents necessary to run the application. This process eliminates the need for a local disk space.

The centralized mode includes the following requirements:

• High availability of the central storage location to host all the applications.
• Access to the central file share where the application resides at all times.
• A strong network connection between the client device and the central file share.
