Configuring URI Redirection

You can use Uniform Resource Idenfier (URI) redirection to open local applications from Windows Client to Agent Desktop and from Agent to Windows Client.

When you configure URI redirection, you specify a local application such as msedge.exe to open in a remote desktop. You can provide an absolute path for the application and create URI parameters to redirect the application.

You can set the application path and URI parameters with the GPO setting Url Redirection App Path Rule. See URL Content Redirection Group Policy Settings.

URI Redirection is supported on Omnissa Horizon Client 8.11 or later and Horizon Agent 8.11 or later.
