This topic explains how to use an input method editor (IME) on your client system to enter text in a published application session from Omnissa Horizon Client for Linux. You can configure a setting to have published applications accept text in a language that you input using an IME.
IME can only be used with published application sessions. It cannot be used with remote desktop sessions.
Procedure
-
Start Horizon Client and connect to a server.
-
Click the Settings (gear) icon in the upper-right corner of the desktop and application selection window.
-
In the left pane of the Settings dialog box, select Applications.
-
Select the Extend the local IME to hosted applications checkbox.
