After you set up the integration between Omnissa Identity Service and your identity provider, you can edit the configuration, if required. Typical updates include regenerating the secret token or extending its lifespan, and updating the identity provider SAML metadata, if necessary.
Prerequisites
You have the following roles:
- Organization Administrator and Organization Owner roles in Omnissa Connect (for Omnissa Identity Service cloud service only)
- Super Admin role in the Omnissa Access service
- Administrator roles in the services you integrate with Omnissa Identity Service. For Workspace ONE UEM, the Console Administrator role or an equivalent custom role is required.
Procedure
-
Navigate to Omnissa Identity Service.
- Cloud: Log in to the Omnissa Connect console, select Identity Management > End User Management from the left pane, then click Launch End User Management.
- On premises: Log in to the Omnissa Access console, select Integrations > Identity Service, then click Configure SCIM Provisioning.
Omnissa Identity Service opens in a new tab in the browser.
-
Click View on the directory card.
-
Click Edit and make your changes in the wizard.
Keep the following considerations in mind:
-
Regenerating the secret token
When you regenerate the secret token, the previous token becomes invalid and provisioning of users and groups from the identity provider fails. You must copy and paste the new token to your identity provider.
-
Changing the token lifespan
If you change the token lifespan, the previous token becomes invalid and provisioning of users and groups from the identity provider fails. You must regenerate the token, and copy and paste it to your identity provider.
-
Updating an expired token
If the secret token expires, the previous token becomes invalid and provisioning of users and groups from the identity provider fails. You must create a new token, and copy and paste it to your identity provider.
