Add Peripheral Server
To view device information in the UEM console, pair your IPC device with a host iOS device and register it in InfineaIQ dashboard. For Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM to communicate with your IPC devices, add the peripheral server to Workspace ONE UEM using the options provided in the UEM console.
To add a peripheral server in Workspace ONE UEM, perform the following steps:

Log in to the UEM console.

Ensure that the correct Organization Group is displayed at the top of the page.

Navigate to Devices > Peripherals > Settings > Server, and then select Add Server.

On the Add Server page, complete the following fields.
Fields Description Friendly Name Choose a meaningful name to identify the peripheral server. HMAC Token The UEM console randomly generates this token. Provide this token to make all subsequent requests from the peripheral server to be HMAC signed. Select the entire 32-character string and copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl+C). User Id The user Id or user name associated with a peripheral server on the UEM console. The user name gets associated with the IPC device after enrollment. Service UID Enter the Service UID or select Generate UID. The Service UID can be an alphanumeric value having 16 through 36 characters. -
Select Save. The status displays pending registration.
Register the Peripheral Server
Register the Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM Peripheral Server in the InfineaIQ environment. Registering the Peripheral Server enables secure communication between Workspace ONE UEM and your IPC devices.
Prerequisite
Access to InfineaIQ portal.
Procedure
To register a Peripheral Server:
- Log in to InfineaIQ environment. InfineaIQ portal displays the dashboard.
- Select
.The InfineaIQ Admin page opens. - Select Edit MDM Settings. The MDM Settings page opens.
- Enter the URL in the AirWatch Base URL text box. For example, example.awmdmd.com.
- Enter the HMAC token in the HMAC Token text box. Workspace ONE UEM provides the HMAC token when adding the peripheral server.
- Enter the UID in the Server UID text box.
- Enter the group ID in the Group ID text box.
- Enter the user name in the Username text box.
- Enter the password associated with the user name in the Password text box.
- Select Save.
- To verify the registration, log in to the UEM console and navigate to Devices > Peripherals > Settings > Server. The UEM console displays the notification end point. For example, https://example.ipciq.com/airwatch. The peripheral server status displays as registered.
