The server components that you must upgrade include Omnissa Horizon Connection Server and replicated servers.
If you spread the upgrade tasks across multiple maintenance windows, you can verify success or discover issues at each phase of the process. Omnissa recommends upgrading all server components during the first maintenance window.
Note: You can also use Horizon Lifecycle Management (LCM) APIs to automate upgrades of Horizon Connection Server and other server components. For more information, see Automating Installations and Upgrades of Omnissa Horizon 8 With LCM APIs.
