Real-Time Audio-Video works with standard webcam, USB audio, and analog audio devices. The feature also works with standard conferencing applications. To support Real-Time Audio-Video, your deployment must meet certain software and hardware requirements.

Horizon Agent software
Real-Time Audio-Video is supported on remote desktops running the following agent software:

Horizon Agent for Windows
The Real-Time Audio-Video feature is installed by default with the Windows agent.

Horizon Agent for Linux
After installing the Linux agent, you must perform additional setup procedures to install the Real-Time Audio-Video feature. For detailed instructions, see Install Real-Time Audio-Video on a Linux Machine.

Remote desktops
When using Microsoft Teams with Real-Time Audio-Video, remote desktops must have a minimum of 4 vCPUs and 4 GB of RAM.

Omnissa Horizon Client software
The Real-Time Audio-Video feature is installed by default with the following client software:

Horizon Client for Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS, Android, and Chrome

Horizon Web Client running in a supported browser other than Safari
Note: Real-Time Audio-Video is not supported for Horizon Web Client running in a Safari browser.

Horizon Client computer or client access device
- All operating systems that run Horizon Web Client, or Horizon Client for Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, or Chrome.
- All operating systems that run Horizon Client for Linux on x64 devices. This feature is also supported on Raspberry Pi 4 Model B devices running Stratodesk NoTouch Operating System.
- For information about supported client operating systems, see the Horizon Client guide for the appropriate system or device.
- The webcam and audio device drivers must be installed, and the webcam and audio device must be operable, on the client computer. You do not need to install the device drivers on the machine where the agent is installed.
