Setting Up an Application in a Third-Party IdP Platform

Configure the application in the third-party IdP platform using the values provided in the Connection Server Service Provider (SP) metadata file. Configure at least the following attributes:

• Entity ID
• Signing certificate
• Encryption certificate
• Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL(s)

For Connection Server versions earlier than 2512, you must create a separate application for each Connection Server instance in the cluster.

For Connection Server versions 2512 and later, when cluster-level SAML authentication is enabled, you must create a single application for the entire cluster. In this configuration, the application must include all Connection Server instance ACS URLs listed in the SP metadata file.
