You can de-integrate Mobile Threat Defense from Workspace ONE UEM and Workspace ONE Inteligence by taking the following steps.
- In Workspace ONE UEM, navigate to Groups & Settings > All Settings > Apps > Settings and Policies > Settings and delete the MTD settings JSON payload or change isEnabled parameter to false. Ensure that the MTD settings payload is deleted within all organization groups that are configured with MTD.
- If Workspace ONE Tunnel is deployed for only PCP, then remove Workspace ONE Tunnel from all managed devices in Workspace ONE UEM. Do not take this step if Workspace ONE Tunnel is deployed for VPN.
- (Optional de-integrate from Workspace ONE Intelligence) In Workspace ONE Intelligence, navigate to the Integrations tab located at the top of the screen, select the three dots (...) on the Workspace ONE Mobile Threat Defense card, then select Deauthorize.
- In the Mobile Threat Defense console, select and delete all device records.
- In the Mobile Threat Defense console, navigate to Integrations in the left panel, select the relevant Workspace ONE MDM connector, then delete the integration by selecting the red Delete button in the top right corner. Repeat this for each connector you want to delete.
- After completing this process, inform your Sales Engineers and Account Representatives that the MTD tenant can be decommissioned.
If the customer is not moving forward with deploying MTD, the following steps must also be taken.
- Remove the Admin user and role that was created for the MTD admin account.
- Remove the MTD device tags that were created in UEM for tagging devices.
