Add a Workspace ONE UEM Server

You can establish a new dedicated single-session pool managed by Workspace ONE UEM from the Horizon 8. Workspace ONE UEM automated enrollment for Horizon 8 is available for all capacity providers. Enabling Workspace ONE UEM management is currently limited to newly created VMs. If you need to enroll existing VMs, see Enrolling Windows Devices into Workspace ONE UEM.

Supported Pools

Manual pools for all capacity providers are supported. The following are available capacity providers and additional settings based on that provider.

Prerequisites

The following prerequisites apply when you enable UEM Enrollment.

• Horizon 8 and Workspace ONE UEM must be configured to use the same Active Directory domain to utilize this feature. The Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub must also be installed in your VM Image before creating the dedicated single-session pool managed by Workspace ONE UEM.

• Intelligent Hub version 25.06.1 or later

• Intelligent Hub must be installed using: PROVISIONHUB=Y and DEFERENROLLMENT=Y

  • Example command line installation: Msiexec.exe /i airwatchAgent.msi /qn PROVISIONHUB=Y DEFERENROLLMENT=Y

• Horizon 8 Agent version 2512 or later

Add a Workspace ONE UEM Server

1. In Settings, select Servers.

2. Under the Servers heading, select Workspace ONE UEM.

3. Click Add.

4. On the Add UEM Enrollment Information screen, enter the following:

   • Name - The name for the UEM configuration.

   • UEM Device Services URL - The UEM server URL. For example, enter as https://example.com.com.

   • Organization Group - The organization group ID in which this server is configured.

   • Staging Username - The username for the UEM staging server.

   • Password - If password protected, the password for the UEM server.

5. Click OK.
