If you are deploying Omnissa Horizon 8 on Nutanix, Prism Central is the management layer for Nutanix AHV servers. Prism Central provides the central point for configuring, provisioning, and managing virtual machines in the data center or public cloud for NC2 deployments. You can also host Horizon infrastructure and other dependencies as virtual machines on the Nutanix platform, such as Prism Central, Connection Servers, Unified Access Gateways, Active Directory Server, and Microsoft RDS Hosts.
