Dual Enrollment allows you to deploy Mobile Threat Defense in both the work profile and personal profile on Android Enterprise devices. When you enable dual enrollment for your end users, MTD is activated in the Omnissa Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub app within the work profile. The Hub then notifies the end user with instructions to activate MTD in the personal profile. Once activated, MTD detects threats and enables you to respond to them across the full device.
Minimum Supported Platforms & Requirements

A currently supported version (non EOL) of Workspace ONE UEM, shared SaaS, Managed Hosting, or On-Premises and Workspace ONE Mobile Threat Defense production or trial tenant.

Dual Enrollment feature flag enabled for the Workspace ONE Mobile Threat Defense tenant.

Android device enrolled and managed by Workspace ONE UEM and have work profile and personal profile.

Omnissa Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub version 24.06+ on Android.
PREREQUISITES
- Ensure Workspace ONE UEM console is configured and integrated with the Workspace ONE Mobile Threat Defense console, either integration by organization group or integration by smart group, both of which are supported.
- Dual Enrollment must be enabled for the Workspace ONE Mobile Threat Defense tenant. Dual Enrollment is not enabled for all Workspace ONE MTD tenants by default. To enable this, create a Support Request asking for Dual Enrollment to be enabled for your Workspace ONE Mobile Threat Defense tenant. Make sure you include in this support ticket the request to enable device state sync for work and personal profiles. Include the following details in the request, which can be found by navigating to System > Account in the Mobile Threat Defense console.
- MTD Tenant Name
- MTD Tenant ID
- Minimum version Omnissa Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub 24.06+ for Android must be installed from the Google Play Store and the device must be enrolled in Workspace ONE UEM and have both a work and personal profile.
