App Volumes Manager hosts the REST API Reference UI locally so that administrators can test and invoke the App Volumes REST APIs directly from a browser, without having to use external tools. This built-in capability can be controlled using an advanced setting in App Volumes Manager Admin UI. The UI is available at https://App_Volumes_Manager_address/rest/swagger-ui.
Similar to existing behavior, you must first create an authenticated session and only then you can invoke the other App Volumes REST APIs. If your session expires or you are logged out of App Volumes Manager, you must reauthenticate to continue using the APIs. By default, the setting is deactivated and the UI is not available.
Note:
-
When you invoke the APIs using the Try it out button in the UI, the API operations affect the actual data in your environment.
-
As the REST API Reference UI is hosted within App Volumes Manager, the interface is accessible even without Internet.
-
The App Volumes REST API Reference documentation and the downloadable PDF format continue to be available at Omnissa Developer Portal.
-
For more information about the advanced setting, see App Volumes Manager Configuration Settings Page.
