Assignments are conceptual entities in the Horizon Universal Console that let you define pools of end-user virtual desktops and remote applications and entitle them to your end users. To create assignments in your Universal Broker environment, you use the Horizon Universal Console. Depending on the pod type, you might need to configure a pool with certain settings before it can be included in an assignment.
Required Pool Preparation Steps
To participate in an assignment in a Universal Broker environment, a VDI desktop pool or RDSH pool in a Horizon pod must be prepared with certain settings required by Universal Broker. You can create a new pool with these mandatory settings or you can modify an existing pool to make it eligible for use in assignments brokered by Universal Broker.
