Delete an App Volumes Application

Depending on your requirements, you can delete an application using the Delete functionality. When you delete an application, the associated packages and assignments are also deleted.

In a synchronization scenario, if you are deleting an application on the source instance then the application is deleted from the target instance as well. If you want the application to remain at the target instance, you must remove the relationship between the source and target. When the relationship is removed, the instance's application must be managed from the target instance.

Note: As the synchronization relationship cannot be removed only for a specific application, all other applications on the target are also affected.

Procedure

1. From App Volumes Manager, go to INVENTORY > Applications.

2. Select an Application and click Delete.

3. On the Confirm Delete window, click Delete.

   Status of the Application is displayed as Pending Delete until the action is completed.

Results

The Application is removed from the Applications page.
