A golden image is a preconfigured virtual machine (VM) that serves as the main template for deploying Horizon desktop pools and RDSH server farms on Nutanix AHV. Before Horizon can provision clones to a pool or farm, you must prepare a golden image that contains a supported Windows operating system, the required Nutanix VirtIO drivers, and the necessary Omnissa agents.
