To install Horizon Agent for macOS, your deployment must meet the following requirements.

Note: Omnissa follows Apple's supported lifecycle guidance for macOS versions. Refer to Apple's official support documentation for OS lifecycle information.
Supported Hardware Platforms
- Apple Silicon Mac (M4 or later)
Note: Intel-based Mac hardware is not supported in this LA release.
Required Platform and Software Versions
To install and use Horizon Agent for macOS, your deployment must meet the following requirements for Horizon Connection Server and Horizon Client software.

Note: PCoIP is not supported by Horizon Agent for macOS. Remote macOS desktops use Horizon Blast Extreme exclusively.
Supported Features
The following features are supported in this LA release:
- Blast Extreme
- Multi-monitor (up to 4 monitors)
- Audio input and output
- Real-Time Audio-Video (RTAV)
- Clipboard Redirection
Unsupported Features
The following features are not supported in this LA release:
- USB Redirection
- Smart Card Redirection
- Instant Clone desktop pools
- Published Applications
- Linked-Clone desktop pools
- Multi-session (RDSH) deployments
Network Requirements
Physical macOS machines must accept incoming TCP connections from:
- Horizon Client devices
- Unified Access Gateway appliances
- Horizon Connection Server instances
Ensure that macOS Firewall settings and any network firewalls permit these connections on the required Horizon Blast ports. For port requirements, see the Horizon 8 Network Ports documentation.
