Adding Users and Assigning Roles

Using the Partner Admin Console, add users and assign roles to users in your partner organization and in your managed tenant organizations.

Note: The Horizon Partner Admin Console is currently available in Limited Availability (LA) mode only.

  • Add users to your partner organization and assign roles.
  • Add users to your tenant organizations and add roles.
  • Modify users and roles.

The roles that you assign to partner organization users allow those users to manage various aspects of the specified service - namely Workspace ONE Cloud and Horizon Cloud - for all of your tenant organizations. These are users within your own organization - for example maxz@mypartner-org.com.

You can add users to tenant organizations with a specific set of roles, which allows users to work in various aspects of the specified service that you manage on their behalf - namely Workspace ONE Cloud and Horizon Cloud - for that particular tenant organization. These are users within a specified tenant organization, not users that exist in your partner organization - for example samx@tenant1-org.com.

For information about assigning tenant management roles to your partner organization users, see Assigning Tenant Management Roles to Partner Organization Users.

Depending on what has been allowed by the tenant, some roles may not be visible or otherwise available. For related information, see Use the Horizon Universal Console to Assign Administrative Roles in Horizon Cloud product documentation.
