This documentation page describes how to change the cipher suites in a pod's gateway configuration. Cipher suites are cryptographic algorithms used to encrypt the TLS communications between clients and the pod's Unified Access Gateway appliances.
Although in almost all cases the default settings are sufficient, Unified Access Gateway provides this feature for specifying the cipher suites.
The Edit Pod wizard displays a list of the cipher suites allowed for the Horizon Cloud on Microsoft Azure deployment. You choose from the on-screen list.
Prerequisites
The pod must already have the gateway configuration for which you want to update the cipher suites.
Procedure
-
From the pod's details page, open the Edit Pod window by clicking Edit.
-
In the Edit Pod window, click Next to move to the Gateway Settings step.
This step has a section for the external gateway configuration and a section for the internal gateway configuration. The user interface reflects the pod's current configuration and the gateway settings it already has.
-
Locate Cipher Suites for the gateway type on which you want to change the cipher suites, either external or internal.
Update the selections to your desired choices.
If the pod has another gateway type and you want to change the cipher suites it uses, repeat this step for that other gateway.
-
Click Save & Exit.
Results
The system updates the set of cipher suites in the pod's gateway configuration to use the ones selected in this workflow.
